Was having a doula helpful to you and your partner? Yes, Very helpful.  Humm was there to remind me to do my breathing and provide lots of other support, from helping us deal with the hospital staff and procedures to providing lots of emotional support and humor.
 

What worked for you?  We  appreciated Humm’s dedication.  She was really there for us and her commitment to help us was very reassuring, as was her expertise.  It was a difficult birth and having her there to provide relief for James and to guide me through the painful aspects of the labor was invaluable.  It would have been unimaginable to get through it without her with us.
 

What did not work for you? I can’t think of anything!
 

Would you have a doula again? Of course!  I wouldn’t attempt to have a baby without one.  Thanks Humm!
 

Other comments...You’re the best!  And thanks for spotting Morgan’s breast feeding problem of being tongue-tied.  Identifying it has helped us in treating it.
